01 / Before you pay
Make sure the phone can be sold.
Ask the seller to unlock and show you the phone. Gambar nampak okay isn’t enough reason to pay.
- Settings > General > About: check IMEI and storage
- Make sure the seller signs out of iCloud / Find My before completing the deal
- Test your SIM, calls, Wi-Fi and mobile data
- Avoid phones with MDM, network restrictions or unsettled contracts
02 / Key functions
Test the essentials, one by one.
Test before agreeing to buy. If you cannot test something, ask the seller why.
- Face ID / Touch ID
- Front and rear cameras
- Speakers, microphone, vibration and charging
- True Tone, touch response and brightness
- Battery Health and Parts & Service History in Settings
03 / Actual condition
Take off the case. Check properly.
Remove the case and inspect in good light. Ask about repairs, replacement parts and water damage.
